Dhinka Chika' is the new song from the movie Ready. After Wanted, Dabanng here comes the new dhinchak song of salman khan. Enjoy!
Dhinka Chika is an adaptation of Tamil hit Ringa Ringa
Salman Khan wants Ready to have a surefire hit track. He insisted on adapting Ringa Ringa (from hit Telugu flick Arya 2) and transformed it to Dhinka Chika for his upcoming Ready. Not just that, he was unhappy with the lyrics of the Hindi film's song and asked for them to be changed.
Salman Khan ordered a change for Ready's Dinka Chika lyrics... and reshot it too
Better words, please
A source reveals, "Salman rang up Bhushan Kumar saying the song needs new lyrics. In fact he refused to shoot the song until they came up with better words. Since they were on an outdoor shoot happening in Bangkok, the crew went ahead and shot the song nonetheless."
On returning to Mumbai, Khan sat with Devi Sri Prasad, the composer of the original Telugu track and came up with new lyrics. "He wants Dhinka Chika to be the song of 2011. It already has the potential to be a huge chartbuster. Hence Salman got new lyrics penned and re-recorded the whole song."
NOT JUST THE LYRICS Even Ready’s Dhinka Chika video was re-shot. This time at Film City...
Salman Khan and producer Bhushan Kumar are sparing no expense (or effort) to ensure that Ready gets the same adulation Dabangg did. Salman hasn’t simply got the lyrics changed for the track Dhinka Chika, he has re- shot the song as well!
Not enough
Salman has been sitting with Bhushan every day, chalking out steps on how to improve every bit of the film. Dhinka Chika was originally shot in the streets of Bangkok with Salman, Asin and dancers in the background.
However when Bhushan, Salman and the creative team of Ready sat and watched Dhinka Chika in Mumbai, they were appalled. Incidentally, Dabangg also re-shot two songs, one of which was Tere Mast Mast Do Nain.
Random places
"The team felt that a song that had the potential to be a chartbuster couldn’t be shot at random locations. They put up a set against a festive carnival-like atmosphere in Film City and re-shot the song. The music video has been directed by Sumit Dutt and the dance choreographed by Mudassar Khan.” Says Kumar, “ Yes, we reshot Dhinka Chika as the whole team felt that the visuals didn’t suit the song. When we are doing it for the betterment of the film, cost is no factor. Bhai (Salman) told me that we should do something different.”
Gimme value!
Adds the producer, “He says songs should be extraordinary as people get attached to them. Without terrific visuals attached, there is no value to the film. So Ready, which is made at Rs 55 crore, can reshoot a song costing Rs 2- 3 crore to enhance its quality. In Bangkok, we shot at live locations without any concept locations with just Salman, Asin and the dancers. This is the first song we shot but somehow the visual impact was missing. We constructed a set in Film City with a very bright, colourful, festive atmosphere.”
